As an auditor, you are in charge of leading and organising various auditing projects, for BNP Paribas. Working directly with the accounts and computer systems departments, you similarly bring your expertise to other auditing teams who are involved in projects, which are occurring externally of the bank.
Your main role is to periodically examine all operational units in their entirety, investigating all departments within the unit itself, accounts, administration, organisational structure, management. You compile a report in which you give an account of your findings and similarly make a number of recommendations, of how efficiency could be increased and how operations could generally be improved.
Internal auditors work in operating units within the bank as a whole. Their job is to act as a control, ensuring that activity in that particular unit, runs as smoothly, coherently and consistently as possible.
Required qualities for an auditor are an ability to communicate on all levels, flexibility and versatility, an analytical thought process and organisational skills.
